Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 July 2026 · Version 2.0

This Privacy Policy explains how Francisco Javier Conejero Puche, operating the mobile application and website BeatMe (“BeatMe”, “we”, “us”), collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you use our services (the “Services”). BeatMe is a social sports-challenge platform that connects athletes to compete in sports such as padel, tennis, football, basketball and more.

We are the data controller. BeatMe is available worldwide; wherever you are, we apply the standards of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”) as our baseline, together with Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). Where local law grants you additional rights, those apply too.

Quick summary: We collect the data you provide (name, username, email, profile, photos), your approximate and precise location (for nearby rankings and matchmaking), the content you create (posts, challenges, chats), and technical/device data. We use it to run the app, match challenges, show ads via Google AdMob, and process purchases via Apple and Stripe. We do not sell your personal data. You can access, correct or delete your data at any time — including deleting your whole account from Settings → Account inside the app.

5. Advertising & tracking

We show ads through Google AdMob. In the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland we ask for your consent through a consent management form (Google UMP) before showing personalised ads. On iOS, we also request permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) before any cross-app tracking. If you do not consent, you will still see ads, but non-personalised ones. You can change your choices at any time in your device settings.

6. International data transfers

Our core database, authentication and file storage are hosted in the European Union (Supabase, EU region). Some of our other providers (for example advertising, payments or analytics) may process limited data outside the EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. You can request a copy of these safeguards at support@beatme.pro.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data for as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must keep certain records to comply with legal obligations (for example, transaction records for tax and accounting purposes).

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:

You can exercise most of these directly in the app: edit your profile at any time, and delete your entire account from Settings → Account. For anything else, contact support@beatme.pro. If you are in the EEA and believe we process your data unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es) or your local supervisory authority. Residents of other regions (e.g. certain US states) may have additional rights under their local law, which we honour where applicable.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encryption in transit. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to notify you and the authorities of serious breaches where the law requires.

10. Children & minimum age

BeatMe is not intended for children under 16 years old. You must be at least 16 to create an account. If we learn that we hold data from someone under 16, we will disable the account and delete the data. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact support@beatme.pro.

11. Information visible to other users

BeatMe is a social platform. Your username, profile photo, sports, level, approximate location (e.g. city), ranking, and challenge history are visible to other users. Content you publish (posts, comments, challenge images) and messages you send are shared with the relevant users. Please consider this before sharing personal information.

12. Cookies

On our website we use only strictly necessary cookies/local storage to keep you signed in and run the app. We do not use non-essential tracking cookies on the website. The mobile app does not use browser cookies for tracking.
